AEON CINEMA

Between the ordinary and the extraordinary

Given its location in an AEON MALL, which attracts many weekday visitors, we considered the space from the entrance to the seating area as "the boundary between the ordinary and the extraordinary. The arrow pattern on the floor that terminates at the gate and the semi-circular glowing gate create a visual effect that invites visitors to go deeper into the building. In addition, the symbolic motifs of the film, such as the clapperboard and film rolls, were incorporated as design elements in the floors and columns. As visitors move deeper into the building, they are gradually transported to the world of the film, creating a sense of anticipation. When visitors pass through the semi-circular gate, the sound logo of AEON CINEMA is played through directional speakers.

日常と非日常の境界

平日利用者も多いイオンモールの中にあるという立地特性から、エントランスから着席するまでの空間を「日常と非日常の境界」と捉えました。ゲートに終極するフロアの矢印模様や、半円状の光るゲートで、館内の奥へと誘う視覚効果を演出。また、映画の象徴的なモチーフであるカチンコやフィルムロールを、床や柱のデザイン要素として取り入れました。奥へと進むにつれて、次第に映画の世界へトリップし期待感を醸成する構成にしています。半円状のゲートを通過する際には、イオンシネマのサウンドロゴが指向性スピーカーから鳴る仕組みになっています。
